Bissoni is a young and small winery founded with a clear mission: to create the best wines respecting the nature and the environment.
more info
With this goal operations have started in 1988 with the purchase of the farm "Colecchio": 12 acres set on a splendid natural terrace facing the hill Bertinoro, where even the ancient Romans cultivated vines and olive trees.
Romagna is now an area where the wine culture has established itself as the Italian regions of highest international reputation. The quality of wines produced in those territories of Romagna is now recognized in Italy and abroad, even thanks to a value for money which is difficult to obtain elsewhere.
The Bissoni philosophy is simple: low production (60 quintals per hectare)to preserve quality and then manually picking the grapes at the optimum time, carefully and gently.
Production is concentrated on two types of wines: Sangiovese Superiore Riserva and Albania Passito wines that have won many awards nationally and internationally.
